REVOLUTION was amazing. I loved it and can’t wait to the next episode. I know, I know that there are a lot of unanswered questions. What did The Globe and Mail think of REVOLUTION…

Going off the grid has put Tracy Spiridakos’s name in lights.

The Winnipeg native is suddenly TV’s hottest face on the new series Revolution, already tapped as one of the hits of the fall season. Set in the near future in a world where all electricity and technology has been blacked out, the dystopian drama earned solid reviews and remarkable ratings (nearly 13 million North American viewers) for its premiere earlier this week.

Reviewers have repeatedly cited the performance of Spiridakos, 24, in her career-making role of Charlie, a feisty survivalist trying to keep her family together in the face of roaming militias and the general collapse of civilized society. Like The Hunger Games, Revolution is filmed in the wilds of North Carolina and its pilot episode has proven Spiridakos equally capable with a crossbow and sharp dialogue.
