“Alaric outed us to the council.”  Those are the first words we hear in this, the CW’s interview with Michael Trevino (Tyler Lockwood) about the upcoming season.  “He told them everything.  The whole council knows what you are.”

Sheriff Forbes, “You both need to get out of town.”

“At the end of season 3, we find out that they have to, essentially, leave town otherwise they’re going to die, or someone’s gonna come after them,” says a very buff-looking Trevino.

(Hello, biceps!)

Cue flashback:  “I must say you really did that spell brilliantly,” Tyler/Klaus says.  “I didn’t think you had it in you.”

“I did it to save my friends, and my mother, Klaus,” comes Bonnie’s reply, “not you.”

“Bonnie has executed this swapping spell and now we have Klaus [quick shot of Klaus's dead eyes popping open] taking over Tyler’s body [quick shot of Tyler's supposed "death" scene before Caroline runs from the room].  So now Tyler’s possessed and it’s going to be interesting to see how that starts in season 4.”

Then there’s a shot of Tyler and a crying Caroline kissing, and I have a feeling that isn’t a shot we’ve seen before.

“Klaus has a thing for Caroline [kissing scene continues] and you’d think that uh if Klaus is possessing Tyler’s body that he’s going to take full advantage [Tyler pulls away from Caroline looking a little surprised] of that.  [Tyler is holding a sobbing Caroline now, looking extremely reverent - I think it's a Tyler/Klaus moment]  And, I don’t know for certain, but I would think that he might go after Caroline pretending to be Tyler, when Tyler is Tyler – do you understand that?”

Ummm…sort of?  Yeah, we get it.  Confused body-snatching, which will probably lead to Tyler feeling betrayed when he learns that Caroline was kissing, well, not him when she was kissing him.  Oh boy.

“It’s been a long hiatus [more kissing, then Caroline & Tyler separate-could be their "meet you in two hours because we're running" scene that doesn't quite turn out that way] – a lot of traveling going on – but I miss Atlanta.  And I miss, kind of, being back home.  And, uh, just getting back to the next season this-this next chapter of The Vampire Diaries and um basically seeing our Vampire Diaries family.”

Awww, Michael, we miss you too!!  And he seems to lend credence to my theory that there may be some shenanigans between Caroline and who she thinks is Tyler before Klaus gets back in his body.
