The CW just keeps churning out the teasers for season 4!! 

And, this time, it’s Claire Holt (Rebekah) dishing some details.

 ”I’m very excited to get back into production, I think it’s going to be really interesting for Rebekah, being that she killed Elena in the season finale,” the Aussie gushes.

The video then cuts to the season finale, with Rebekah on the phone with Stefan.

“Elijah says we have to run, that the hunter will keep coming after us, but, I don’t want to run anymore, Stefan,” we hear her say through the phone, Stefan looking concerned.  “I spent my whole life running.”

“What are you talking about, we had a deal,” Stefan argues.

“I’m sorry, but Klaus is dead, there is no deal,” she answers.

“After I’d lost my brother, I-I guess, you know, Rebekah didn’t really care anymore about the consequences, so, uh, that was why she did what she did.”

(Which is going to prove interesting once she learns Klaus isn’t dead)

And the video returns to that fateful moment when Rebekah steps out in front of Matt’s truck.  The truck goes into the water and then Claire starts to speak again.

“And, I think it’s going to be really interesting for Rebekah being that she killed Elena in the season finale.”

Then, we see Elena come gasping back to life in the morgue.

“What’s it like to kiss Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley – is probably the most frequent question I get.  Um.  There’s so many fans of the show, and-and all the characters are so popular and I was so lucky to come on later in the piece, so everyone sort of wants to know what it feels like to be so lucky.  I think that’s the biggest question I’ve received from people.”

Yes!!  We do want to know that, and experience it for ourselves!!

Well, that was cute, but not terribly spoiler-ish!!  I do like that she comes back *TWICE* to the fact that Rebekah killed Elena.  I think that is going to be her character’s biggest issue this season.  Even with a new hunter, she’s going to have to dodge her own brother’s anger first!
