Teresa Palmer has a way about her you can’t help but take notice of. She walks into a room and you stop. It wasn’t long after we walked into Montréal-Mirabel International Airport (or as it was renamed for the movie, Isaac Marion International Airport) when the tiny blonde walked in, wearing heels that I would fall out of. Her dog followed closely beside her. We didn’t want to stare. It wasn’t as if we hadn’t seen a celebrity, we had. But this was our first set visit, and she just happened to be playing a character we absolutely loved.

She walked in and greeted everyone. Her Australian accent was literally like music, calming. But there was a fire and light about her, the same kind that you would imagine Julie Grigio having. Yes, there is that moment where you take a step back and you realize casting directors know what they are doing. We knew that they had made the right decision.

Teresa was perfect.

“Hi,” she says.

I looked to the left, and then to the right? Was she talking to me?

“Hi,” I reply. Was it the right answer? I was kinda intimidated by her.

“Where are you from,” she asks.

Now, I know that question is simple enough, but for me I had to take a moment. This girl that I had seen kick ass in ‘I am Number Four’ was talking to me. It’s not that I don’t know that celebrities are normal people, but I couldn’t help but be overwhelmed.

“Los Angeles.”

She meant what outlet was I from. Over the course of filming there were media outlets flown to Montreal to be extras. But was I a media outlet? I mean after all, I was just a fan site. Right, just a fan site? Well over the course of this day, I would learn that is a lot more then you think.

She smiled at me and said, “What outlet?”

“We’re from the fansite,” I say. I point at the others with me. They are there for other outlets, but collectively we own TheWarmBodies.com.

Now, when you start a fan site you really don’t expect much out of it. But the reaction we got shocked us.

“OMG, I tweet you guys,” she says.

“I know,” I say. I try to regain my compsure, but I am pretty sure that I have just made an idiot out of myself.

“It’s so great you guys are here. This means so much, I mean you guys are really the fans of this book, and of this story”

Well, I think that is what she said, because when Teresa Palmer is excited to meet you, you stop functioning. You wonder if she realizes that you are just some average joe who lives in Southern California, and spends too much time reading. And at the same time you can’t help but stare at her flawless skin, and you think wow green juice does wonders, I need to start drinking that stuff.

“We’re really excited and honored to be here.”

But she assures us that they are the ones honored to have us there, and for the life of us, we can’t figure out why.

Love this. Even more excited for the movie now!

“You wonder if she realizes that you are just some average joe who lives in Southern California, and spends too much time reading” … and who operates an incredibly addicting fan site…
