Nina Dobrev was busy this week promoting The Perks of Being a Wallflower but that didn’t stop a savy reporter asking her about the upcoming season of The Vampire Diaries!

“Elena is a vampire now, so everything is heightened,” the 23-year-old starlet told us at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of Perks of Being a Wallflower. “If she steps on an ant and kills the ant, she freaks out and starts crying, or if somebody tells a joke, she starts laughing like a maniac. So all of her emotions are heightened.”

She added, “It’s not going to be easy. It’s a very character-driven season. It’s going to be really intense.”

The more I hear about this new season, the more I wish Father Time would push fast forward!!
