Is this Jamie Campbell Bower cleaning up for his upcoming ‘Mortal Instruments’ role? »

Not going to lie, I wasn’t exactly *thrilled* that Jamie Campbell Bower was casted as Jace in the upcoming ‘Mortal Instruments’ films but alas, the studios know better than I do. Personally, Alex Pettyfer was my choice but what are you going to do?

Anyways, Jamie attended the Emporio Armani Summer Garden Live and I must say, the guy is cleaning up quite nicely.

    Alex Pettyfer was also my first choice because his look and attitude kinda fits the Jace role (AND! he looks like an angel <3) and honestly? I do NOT like Jamie o.o for Jace anyway but I love him in other roles. Oh well -.- Hope it's gonna be kay

    Alex Pettyfer would’ve been my first choice. But as long as Jamie hides those big ears, I’m sure he’ll be just fine. (Wow, that came out harsh! Sorry, Jamie.)

    I didn’t automatically think of Jamie when I thought Jace but, when he was announced I was really thrilled. He is an amazing actor and that is really the most important part right?

    Seriously? Alex pettyfer cant even act. Hes an awful actor and an awful person.
    At least Jamie cares about his fans and cares that he got this role. Alex didnt want it because hes a spoilt brat who knows the only thing hes good at is showing his body off (hence why he took a rolw in a stripper film for crying out loud).
    Seriously get over alex, he didnt want to be in this movie and its alightly embarrassing for you when you go on about him when he never gave a shit about the role.

    Jamie is an incredible actor, he throws his all into his roles and you dont have to look far to see pictures of him where he is the spitting image of the Jace described in the book.
    Its so not fair when people go on about how hes ugly. Hes not f**king ugly they are just being spiteful and rude because their favourite didnt get the part.

    You cant really be a fan of the book if you want someone to play Jace just because he has muscles. If alex got the role he would turn it into some lame 12 year old girl movie in which jace would look like a empty headed, dumb, shallow idiot, seeing as thats the only role alex can act well. BECAUSE THATS WHAT HES LIKE.

    At least Jamie would bring depth to the character and get across to the audience how complex jace’s personality is.

    I hope Jamie realises what a horrible undeserving fandom you all are and drops out, then you will be left with some rubbish actor who ruins your precious film then you might have all realised that Jamie would have done a perfect job.
    Hes better than all of you and this stupid film. Your all just too ignorant to see it.

    What if you had taken a role and all you saw was ‘ew ugly’, ‘not good looking enough’
    Im pretty sure you wouldnt be exactly thrilled about it
    He will be awesome as Jace, and as for Alex ‘i only have one facial expression’ pettyfer. You should be glad your rid of him.
    The irony is that half the people proclaiming that Jamie is ugly are probably ugly themselves.
    Jamie is NOT ugly. In no way is Jamie ugly. Like the other person sais, your just being rude and judgemental.
    Theres no need for it.
    I really hate this fandom sometimes, i really Really do.
    And you know whats annoying? You will all love Jamie once you see the movie.
    Its exactly what happened with Dan as Harry, with Rob as Edward, with Josh as Peeta & many other roles I wont waste my time listing.

    Reserve your judgement until the movie comes out or you risk souding like an utter idiot. Oh wait. You already sound like idiots.

    I didn’t see anyone call Jamie “ugly”. Everyone is allowed to have their opinions on casting. While I agree that Alex Pettyfer is a crap actor, he was who I pictured as Jace when reading the books. Jamie is a better actor but physically he is not who I pictured as Jace.

    They dont respect that some of us think alex is too old looking and looks too rough to play Jace.
    He was never EVERYONES favourite you know.

    Jamie will be the perfect Jace. It never occurs to me that Alex will be the perfect Jace. Absolutely not. I’ve watched I am Number Four and Beastly, and seriously, he doesn’t have the ‘it’ factors, i just don’t get the feeling. And i don’t want him to play City of Bones, it’ll ruin everything. And c’mon, he’s not that very very handsome. Handsome, yes, but not very very very. And Jamie, he’s just so sweet and that smile, oh that smile, makes my heart melt and when pettyfer smile, nothing happens to my heart (cheesy i know). so, Jamie is the perfect Jace and you haters out there should stop hating him.

    well, maybe pettyfer deserves another role but not something that he doesn’t deserve, like City of Bones, he even doesn’t show any interest in that movie. Move on peops
