The CW has released another shot from behind the scenes at the recent The Originals photo shoot. This time is features Leah Pipes (the “token” human Camille) looking very curious about something. What do you think she’s looking at? Do you think she may be witnessing something that will expand her knowledge of the supernatural world around her?

The Golden Remote Awards are put on by E!Online every year, and the way the awards are decided are based on YOU voting.
The Vampire Diaries appears in several categories!!! The first being “What was the best fight of the TV season?” for the season-ending (and life altering for a very old vampire) battle between Elena and Katherine. The second is “What was the best kiss of the TV season?” for the “I love you and I’m not sorry” kiss between Elena and Damon in the same episode. Next is “Who is TV’s best couple?“ where Stelena fans will get very angry because only Damon + Elena are nominated. Sorry, guys! A category that made me chuckle at it’s nominations is “Who is TV’s oddest couple?” where Katherine + Elijah got the nod! They are kind of a strange match, aren’t they? TVD also got nods in the “Who is your favorite drama king/queen?” category, with Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev.
And, there’s another category . . . that I wasn’t going to mention . . . because it’s kind of anti-The Vampire Diaries in a way. But! TVD is also nominated in the “Which love triangle are you so over?” category for, you guessed it, the Stefan-Elena-Damon thing that the entire show is kinda based on.
So, GO VOTE (but maybe not for that last one)!!! Voting ends July 5th at 9pm PST.
And, DO NOT FORGET!!! TVD is nominated in a SLEW of categories in the Teen Choice Awards, too!! Go VOTE here for TVD in the TCAs!

As you may or may not know, Executive Producer Julie Plec takes a lot of the tweets she gets to heart. And some of them have hurt (shame on you, whoever’s sending those), but she felt the need to return fire at fans demanding that she bring beloved Original brother Kol back. First she tweeted this (and she needed TwitLonger to do it):
Apparently, that wasn’t quite enough, though. A fan tweeted Julie a Venn Diagram she’d come up with, explaining why bringing back Kol just couldn’t come back. In case she needed a “visual aid” for those still not getting it.

If there’s a better way to prove that Kol coming back would a) just not make sense and b) be a total sell out to on-line bullys (in essence) I can’t think of one.
As much as I hate the idea of Kol only coming back in flashbacks, I agree that his story has been told.

All kidding aside, Arielle spoke with Zap2It recently and told them that there’s even a chance that Lexi might make an appearance in NOLA for The Originals!!
“It’s important for me to let the fans know that they have truly helped to keep Lexi alive,” the friendly Kebbel tells Zap2it. “I love the character deeply, and [executive producer] Julie Plec loves the character, and we are doing the best we can to continue keeping her alive.
“The exciting thing about Lexi is that you never know when she’s going to pop up … but she absolutely can. And most likely will. We’ve had some talk [about Lexi possibly appearing on the upcoming spinoff The Originals], but that’s uncharted territory, so they’re still figuring out how they want to handle that.”
How cool would that be? Of course it would have to be some sort of flashback, but I would love to learn more about Lexi’s past before her encounter with the Salvatores!!
Hosting The Vampire Diaries Rehash was probably what got Arielle the hosting gig on the CW’s Perfect Score, but Arielle says she hasn’t given up on acting in the process.
“I’m very committed to doing both,” she confirms. “I’m not leaving one for the other. It’s just broadening my horizons, and encompassing all aspects of who I am and what I want to be doing in my career. I did have people in Hollywood saying things like, ‘You can’t do that. It’s confusing to this town.’ Well, what does that even mean? I just had to say, ‘Listen, I respect your opinion, but it’s not confusing to me.’ I know what I love and I know what I want to do, and it absolutely makes sense to me. So, I’m just going to keep on keepin’ on, and we’ll see.”
