This cover deserves so much attention — look at this cast! Vanity Fair you have some of the best covers. Geesh… these beautiful, talented persons who make revenge and violence a sport that only kings and queens may play. And I am so glad to not live in medieval, fantastical times that take place in fictional universes, because as pretty as the people are on this cover, their fictional counterparts are some wicked, mean throne-absconding murderers and scare the crap out of me.
And the Behind-The-Scenes video because who doesn’t want to watch it?!
Are these not the loveliest of places for Leibovitz to shoot? She really does have an otherworldly style that enhances the already natural beauty of this cast and sets. See more photos and read the full Vanity Fair interview HERE.
Gorgeous song for a trailer frankly, especially for this Game of Thrones trailer. While my loyalties are divided always, because sadly I do not like anyone to be killed. Kind of silly of me to watch this show because of my inability to want justice or revenge like these characters… I mean, seriously… what can’t we all just get along. Probably because that doesn’t make for diverting television, Ha!
Anyway… new trailer… YAY:
Anyone else have this problem when watching this show? Like do you think sometimes, I am so angry at you, but ouch, that’s the worst way to go — I am so sorry for you. Also, Lena Headey is the most gorgeous of gorgeous women and so badass so frankly, I will watch this show for her alone sometimes. Don’t judge… you know she’s awesome too!
Oh my goodness! I might be in shock. George R. R. Martin has managed to write the sixth book for the A Song of Ice and Fire series and it has not been years… okay it has not been the many years it was in between the fourth and fifth book. Also, my doubt is in not quite called in for complete questioning yet, because there is no official release date yet and let me point you this Martin’s practice in the past.
And let me say, I am still waiting for the third book in Justin Cronin’s The Passage Trilogy and there have been promises, that have been broken. So the book world is just as bad as other entertainment industries when it comes to getting their release dates pinned down.
Anyway… since that’s not settled, we fans must settle for the following (An excerpt from The Winds of Winter – sixth book – Woohoo!):
TYRION: Somewhere off in the far distance, a dying man was screaming for his mother. “To horse!” a man was yelling in Ghiscari, in the next camp to the north of the Second Sons. “To horse! To horse!” High and shrill, his voice carried a long way in the morning air, far beyond his own encampment. Tyrion knew just enough Ghiscari to understand the words, but the fear in his voice would have been plain in any tongue. I know how he feels. (x)
Presently there are five books out in the series. And of course, the Game of Thrones show is alive and well and continuing on to its next season soon. For more though, you’ll be able to read the entire Tyrion chapter this month in an update to the George R.R. Martin’s A World of Ice and Fire app. Download the app from iTunes or Google Play.
