Andrea Cremer, known for her young adult series Nightshade, has inked a deal with Penguin to pen a trilogy of adult erotica novels.

According to Publishers Weekly the adult novels will be set in the Nightshade world.  The first book in the series is set for release in October 2013 and will be about the lives, passions, and betrayals of lovers whose very desires invite their dooms.  This is an interesting addition to the Nightshade series which will also have a young adult prequel, Rift, which is set to release next week.

Maybe I am the only one who doesn’t think that this is a good idea. But I am sure that some do. What are your thoughts?
