It’s the last day of 2012, and what an insane year it has been.  Things have happened this year that we never could have thought of.  It’s just the beginning for us, and it’s crazy.

This year started out for us with THE HUNGER GAMES. We can’t even begin to thank Lionsgate. We attended The Hob and the Premiere. We were able to hang out with fans, meet Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, had our pictures on websites, attend the Hunger Games premiere. And that doesn’t even begin to cover the craziness. We have been blessed.

We thought that would be the biggest thing to happen to us all year, but that turned out to just be the beginning.

We visited the sets of Enders Game, Beautiful Creatures, and The Mortal Instruments movies. We attended Comic Con. We flew to New York to attend New York Comic Con, and were amazed when Alden Ehrenreich remembered who we were. We attended the Twilight Saga premiere and The Hunger Games premiere. We have been to several screening, hung out at some studios, and interviewed some great actors and actresses. Someone pinch us, because this doesn’t all seem real. Seriously, is this real life?

When we sit down and look back at it, it’s amazing to us, because we never expected it. We just have a love of books, and share it with as many people as we can.

And the great thing is we get to actually share all of our adventures with you this year.

Starting in January, we’ll be able to share with you our set visit to WARM BODIES, and pictures of us dressed as Zombies. Our scene didn’t make the movie, but we were there. We’ll get to bring you more stuff from our set visits, plus some amazing things that are already coming in to play for this year. Things just keep looking up.

Can not wait for the return of REVOLUTION. And that has nothing to do with JD Pardo (ok, I lie, it does). But the other star of the show Tracy Spiridakos made i back to Winnipeg for the holiday, and took the time to sit and talk with her hometown newspaper about the show and just how much she has been working.

“We’ve been working so much that I really haven’t had time to stop and think about it all,” Spiridakos says during an afternoon interview at her parents’ Portage Avenue eatery, Olympia Diner. “I guess I would say things are going well.”

“The last four months have been full-on — lots of work, very little sleep. But I hear sleep’s overrated, anyway. It’s been nice to finally take a step back, go for a drive and think about how much fun it’s all been.”

Just how hard have they been working?

After landing the part, Spiridakos was launched headlong into a gruelling production schedule that includes very long days (14 to 16 hours isn’t unusual) and very little down time (the cast and crew sometimes work six days a week).
